cod.jpgOne of the biggest World War II shooter franchises will soon be reporting for duty on your handset, as Activision and Glu Mobile has announced a partnership to develop an upcoming Call of Duty title for mobile phones. The series, which is known for it cinematic styled take on the Second World War, has been popular on the PC and console systems including the Xbox 360 and PS3, and will be available in a Glu mobile version later this year.

  • It’s good to see that Activision is expanding the franchise.

CoD2 has been available for Pocket PCs for quite some time now:

I’m just curious as to the type of game they are going to release. Will it be a themed game, meaning a funky intro screen and some kind of simple mission that makes you “think” you play CoD or will it be like the Pocket PC version?

PS: the links are not working :)
