foxsoccer.jpgIn America most of us think of soccer as that game kids play, and moms go to watch. Well, at least that use to be the case, as interest in the game the rest of the world calls football is rising.

Now U.S. fans of the English Barclay’s Premier League will be able to tune in to catch the long matches with low scores on their mobile handsets. This newly signed deal gives the Fox Soccer Channel exclusive coverage for U.S. mobile and Internet highlight rights, as well as the capability to stream live matches for the next three seasons. The mobile package also includes highlights of all BPL matches, along with a weekend roundup.

  • BPL? Er what?

English Premier League, maybe. Not British, ever.

  • BPL=Barclay’s Premier League

  • This is just one good idea to connect the soccer community but go look what I just found online. Check out this new site I discovered. http://www.zigazogalabs.com

The founders have a great idea here and any serious soccer enthusiast needs to get involved and help them build it like we all helped My Space and YouTube.

This can be a great thing for the entire soccer community including organizations like the EPL, Fox Soccer Channel, MLS and other worlwide soccer companies (i.e. collegiate sports, professional, youth, tournament organizers, etc.).

I like their matra’, “GET STUCK IN”. It’s what serious soccer players do both on and off the pitch.
