NBC Universal and MobiTV partnered to create NBC Sports Mobile, a new channel on MobiTV. The channel’s launch will happen today, live on the green of the U.S. Open Golf tournament with Tiger Woods. Additional sports events planned for the channel include Wimbledon and portions of the upcoming NFL season. NBC already has NBC2Go, a sports-centric mobile site found at NBCSports.com/mobile, where users can browse news, scores and video made available from NBC Sports and NBCSports.com.
