MusicStation Up and Running
by Peter Suciu on June 15, 2007

musicstation.jpgSwedish mobile phone users won’t have to wait until the arrival of Apple’s iPhone to get tuned up. UK based mobile music company Omnifone has launched MusicStation in the Scandinavian country, and the service, which will work on about 80 percent of new mobile phones, will make a global rollout to Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa in the coming weeks. The revolutionary all-you-can-eat (AYCE) full-track mobile music service has the support of the world’s four largest music labels including Universal Music Group, Sony BMG, EMI Music and Warner Music International, as each of these musical powerhouses have signed international licensing deals for the Omnifone offering.
