Purchasers during the promotional period will have this no monthly charge service for at least three years." So "for life" is only guaranteed for 3 years. Also read carefully the disclaimer in the 1st paragraph of "Foward-looking Statements" which absolves OOMA from any damages no matter what promised capabilities thay can't provide.
