Publishing Group of America Brings Out Mobile Editions

publishing.jpgThe Publishing Group of America, publisher of print magazines American Profile and Relish, has signed a deal with DMD Mobile Holdings Inc. to offer pay-per-use mobile versions. This new mobile content, which will include recipes from Relish on demand, as well a horoscopes and other factoids from American Profile, will be available through texting codes printed in banner ads in the print editions.

Each magazine will need to be subscribed to separately, and each will cost $9.99. It isn’t clear how much content will be available each month, but it sounds like an interesting tie-in between print and mobile.
