There are a few certain truths in life, and one of them is anything that can be made cheaply and sold for a profit will be pirated in China! We’re hearing that Chinese pirates, who have copied video games, golf clubs and perfume, have now cloned the iPhone.
But not only that… they’ve supposedly made it better by including a Linux-based OS on board. This has allowed the “ChiPhone” to run software that the iPhone won’t run, plus it work on cellphone carriers besides AT&T. So the question remains: why doesn’t someone hire these guys to make real products?

Good Question in the end. Nokia should hire them.
…because in the end your product might just a) be illegal, b) only be cheap as long as it stays in China and c) because it’ll probably fall apart a couple weeks after purchase.

That’s so cool! I should buy one of those Chiphones. I like iphone but I hate ATT.
Becasue the phones would probably be lined with lead poison just like the Mattel Toys. China Sucks!
