AT&T and LG Electronics Reveal New Trax Mobile Phone
by John Kullman on August 14, 2007

trax.jpgIf you like small devices that carry a lot of media devices, AT&T and LG Electronics MobileComm USA. Inc. (LG mobile phones) have announced the new traxTM by LG. At 3.55 ounces, this ultra-thin handset will have the skinniest model wishing she didn’t eat those 150 calories for dinner.

All your favorite music can be installed on trax and the device can connect to music subscriptions like Napster and eMusic. A user can enjoy digital radio, or create play lists of favorite songs. Streaming video is available from content providers CNN, The Weather Channel, iFilm, Comedy Central and HBO.

“The trax by LG is more than a music phone,” said Carlton Hill, vice president of Product Management for AT&T’s wireless unit, “With top-notch video and data capabilities, in addition to a sleek design, this device will hit the right note with many of our customers.”

If all this isn’t enough for the petite trax, it also has a 1.3 mega pixel camera and in-camera photo-editing. If your diet is too calorie packed to let you stroll down the catwalk, the trax can make you look chic on the street.
