		<description>The tongue-in-cheek comments by John Kullman are simply too obvious to miss. Or at least I thought so.  And there was no suggestion of guns having a place in education, where did that come from? People here in Oz are educated in their use and safety as part of the process of obtaining one for legitimate purposes.

		<description>As much as I agree that mobile phones should not be banned in schools, I&#039;m disappointed with the political angle you felt you had to include in your post.

Guns have no place in education.  In Australia, we&#039;ve certainly not had the repeated incidence of school and college shootings that have so tragically befallen countries with more tolerant stances on firearms.  Perhaps this is because students here find it so much harder to obtain a gun.
