		<description>Yeah, Google has been awfully silent in the past few months. We have to rely on information from other people developing apps to even know that Android is still alive. Makes coming up with new news for my site, http://www.myhtcphone.com , which covers an Android port to Sprint's HTC Touch hard to put together.

Its good that HTC is still acknowledging a handset will be available this year (even though its current handsets can and do run Android) but without an actual stable release of Android, how can this be true?

Even if it does launch this year, will there be enough apps and support to make it worth it?</description>
