White HTC Touch Diamond on the way

Just not feelin’ the black of the original HTC Touch Diamond, or even the flush, deep red back of Sprint’s release? How about white?

I’m not sure why they kept the face of the device black. While it might look better in person, it looks unfinished in the product shots. We’ll know how it looks in person by sometime in October, when these guys are expected to make their way out to the sales floor.

  • What happened to the other guy? And where is the game news? Bring back the other guy and dump this sandwich eating freak!

  • They make the face black to disguise the true size of the screen. Apple does the same thing with the iPhone. When they photograph it, they make sure that the black background blends in with the black border on the face so that the screen looks like it takes up the entire face, instead of just 1/2 or so.
