Samsung pushed out two new music phones this morning. Continuing the name-followed-by-superscript branding idea that began with the Soulb, they’ve dubbed the new handsets Beatb and Beats.
Much of the spec sheet is shared between the two models: tri-band GSM, 3.5 mm jacks, microSD support, stereo bluetooth, and FM radio. Both handsets use Samsung’s Digital Natural Sound engine with Auto EQ to enhance audio quality. Additionally, both come preloaded with Shazam, an impressively accurate song identification application, and utilize Samsung’s “Motion Play” feature for gesture based music control. Tap the phone to pause playback, flip it over to mute the audio, or shake it to hop from song to song – or just use the side keys like a normal person. Besides the obvious aesthetics difference, the key thing seperating the two handsets is the Bang & Olufsen ICEpower amplifier found in the Beats
Expect to see Beatb launched later this month, with Beats coming in October.

Which is better? The Beat or the Beat?
The Beat.
Beat it is. Thanks.
Using superscript in a product is surely a recipe for disaster – most people can’t even get the hang of InterCaps!
Even though they looks shiny and fun. Samsung’s now a days kind of suck.
Samsung and all their intricate phones… how about making a quality product and providing quality software before you move on to the next piece of garbage. This is garbage
