Our resident G1 owners are AFK, so we’re going based on what others have posted. It looks like paid apps are finally showing up in the Android Market. Since I don’t have a G1, I can’t confirm which paid apps have showed up. Is there anyone in the audience who can help us out?
Update: Devin here. I’m looking at my G1 and there are no pay apps at all. I’m thinking it’s being rolled out as we type this. Considering how long it took me to get RC33, I may be in for a bit of a wait.
Update 2: Reader Henry just sent this in and it looks like our boys’ G1s are finally seeing some paid apps. We’ll have reviews of anything worthwhile shortly. Oh, Justin B., if you’re reading this please email one of us. K. Thx.

Frankly speaking i don’t have also any idea.Anyway let me study.
Paid apps has not been up yet in the UK android market.. perhaps we’re still waiting for the RC33 (RC9) update before it shows up before we get the paid apps!
I saw a few paid apps on my G1. One is called Geocacher and its $15.00 wow!…

Would you mind sending us some screen grabs? peterha at crunchgear dot com. Thanks!

I have 2 G1s side by side and 1 can see paid apps the other doesn’t.
The 1 that does see the paid apps did get the RC33 update prior, but this seemingly shouldn’t be an issue since both r on RC33 now.
Wouldn’t accessing the paid apps be a matter of which server/datacenter you are pinging rather than any OTA update?
