I used to have an app on getjar. In my experience, the download inflation rate was closer to 1000%, not 200%.

Ebuddy have been on a slow burn growth for absolutely ages, I remember using them years ago and thinking it was a neat little app. I really like Meebo too, who’ve also been growing very steadily by doing a similar thing over the past few years (bearing in mind Meebo have about 40 million in funding).
