Know who doesn’t have a Palm Pre? Me. Or you, most likely. Know who does? Angelina Jolie.
Presumably one of many celebrities currently touting Palm’s not-so-secret weapon, Jolie was recently spotted on the set of an upcoming flick with a Pre in tow. When the LA Examiner asked her about it, she “went on about it for about two minutes.” The goods? She likes the software (“better than the iPhone”), and the keyboard. The bad? The screen scratches easily.
This is the second pre-release report we’ve heard indicating that the Pre’s screen might be a bit scratch-prone. Come on, Palm: iPhone users post videos of themselves pitting their glass screens against razor blades and keys for fun. Can we get a screen protector in the box, at least?
(Oh, and if you’re wondering about the image to the right: Angelina Jolie is not tiny, and the Palm Pre is not huge. We’re just horrible with Photoshop.)

Forget Brangelina, I’m just excited to hear more about the Pre out in the wild. I’m hoping that the Pre isn’t more scratch-prone than other devices with plastic screens, just more so than the iPhone (admittedly, that glass screen is a huge plus). My Touch Pro has a very flush plastic screen, and no scratches yet, so I’m hopeful…
And do screen protectors work with capacitive touch screens?
P.S. I recognize what it says about me that my lust over the Pre exceeds my lust over Angelina Jolie. And, I recognize the rhyming in that sentence, which was entirely unintentional.
With celebrities raving about it already (without being paid for it), that’s publicity companies can’t buy generally.

she would do nothing like that unless a big paycheck with lots of zeros was at the end. you know so she can go to a country stand and look conerned for a day then go home and do her vilolent or sex films…….she is a whor^&^^&. my friend told me about her having sex with animals i thought well nothing surprises me about her. i looked it up just cause i was curious and its def. her having sex with a horse. i know by her tattoos. i have tattoos, so i pay attention to details. i cant wait til she explains that one to her kids all out of wedlock……what a great example she sets……….lol. truth always comes out in the end. always!

Thank you! finally somebody with common sence. Why do people care so much, they put the thier clothes on the same as me and you and everyone else. I would not use somebody to promote my item with a history like hers. But us plain folk…were not good enough. i’d like to see them work in a factory for 12 hours a day in cold and heat seven days a week. then tell me they had such a hard day at work. they no nothing about work. making a movie they have their own trailers, food, drinks, etc…….they hype over celebs does absolutly nothing for me. Thing is they may have everything here but everyone dies and nither her or her slum bag boyfriend believe in God. So they have everything but yet nothing. I like to write-but i will never get my break im 36 i look as good as she does (not to be cocky) when all my make up is on to but my daddy was not already an actor. she was already set. and I throw knifes and shoot guns for real and dont miss and i dont need a camra helping me……i could go on all day…sorry… :^( just makes me sick how they have made such a whor&*&* to be a “saint”

I remember that one of the original demos given at CES was by a woman (product manager, I think). Unfortunately, I can’t remember any of the specific content to give you something to search for, but I’m sure it’s on YouTube.

Tough decision.. but I’ll the the Pre out of that combination. The pre’s UI and culmination of features is astounding. Can’t wait to double check its security for commercial applications so I can get one for my business. I’ll probably check This* digital security site first for that information.
