You need to flash back to RC29, then root your phone, and flash to the dev firmware.  I have done it and the Cupcake is indeed tasty.

There should be some lag between the HTC dev firmware release vs the Tmobile G1 retail firmware release because dev firmware doesn&#039;t include G1 sales apps like Amazon MP3 stuff.(which is better in my opinion)</description>
