The new version of the iPhone firmware and the new version of iTunes will include parental controls that allow Mom and Dad to restrict application content on the iPhone. Sadly, you can be absolutely certain that the average kid will be able crack these restrictions, but hey, Apple is trying.
You can restrict most content into four boxes, 4+, 9+, 12+, and 17+. This would, in turn, allow app manufacturers to create obscene apps to pervert our minds.

In a move that could be defined as strategic, Amazon bought the company behind the Stanza eReader, Lexcycle or default would be the main competition of the Kindle to the iPhone among readers of ebooks in the iTunes Store.
Now can we have Nine Inch Nails app?
It’s a nice start, but 10 year old kids can read, thus they can break it fairly easily.
