AT&T now has a $3 per day prepaid cellphone service. For $3 per day, you can make as many cellphone calls as you want. It’s that simple.
That’s unlimited voice service—text messages and whatnot would be charged on top of that $3.
The plan is designed for people who seldom use their cellphone. Why pay just shy of $100 per month when you only make a handful of calls?

The problem is that if you receive one call, it automatically charges you $3, regardless if you make or receive any more.
Eh, I’m not sold. I just spend $100 a year on my Tmobile To Go prepaid service. 1000 minutes that don’t expire for an entire year. Good enough for me.
Though, if this ATT plan included unlimited Internet as well- It could make a nifty iPhone option.
“Why pay just shy of $100 per month when you only make a handful of calls?”
Which infrequent cellphone users have a rate plan that is just shy of $100/month?? I’m missing something here…maybe AT&T have a rate plan system that would look crazy to us Canucks.
Haha- You only pay $3 for the day you use the phone. Not every day of the month. So if you only use your phone 3 days in 4 months, you only pay $9.
