If they come out with an unlocked gsm it wouldn't hurt its chances. I would buy it if I didn't already have the g1. If I had a sprint contract I would definitely buy it. Once AT&T brings out its android phone there is gonna be a huge shake up in the market. As android becomes available on more carriers it will be tough for exclusive phones to compete.
