Here we are, folks. The day that Apple fans have been anxiously awaiting since.. well, since the last major Apple event just a few months ago. What will we see? iPhone 3GS? The Apple Tablet?

By the time the sun cracks over the hills of San Francisco tomorrow, we’ll already be well on our way to the pungent circus that is Moscone West on Day 1 of WWDC. We’ll begin our liveblog coverage long before the event starts (at 10 AM PST), so check back in the wee hours of the west coast morning. 3G networks and dastardly dongles allowing, we’re going to liveblog this thing with such detail that you’ll start to think you’re actually here. It’ll be like your own personal WWDC holodeck. Sure, it’s a very low-tech holodeck limited to pictures and words – but still. Fine, it’s nothing like a holodeck.
Update: Live blog is live. Check it out after the jump

  • cant wait to see new news coming form apple!

  • am i reading that right? iphone 3gs gets the video but the older iphones wont have it?

that silly, my old iphone could handle video fine (when it was jailbroken) so why not let the older devices record video too?

    • I am with you on that. I have the older iPhone and the update did not give me video capabilities. I was able to get the MMS but I think I might have to download an app that will let me take videos. Hopefully with that app I will be able to share videos through MMS.

  • 3GS looks okay but the reality is that they have caught up on some features, that other manufacturers have had for a while…..Not sure that it would make me trade up my Nokia for an iPhone although some features are very impressive.

  • Greg/John, good work with the feed btw.

  • Well… last month they where selling the Iphone for U$200 no strings attached (sadly I found out late)… so.. they might have been wanting to get rid of the current Iphone because they got newer, better, cooler Iphone ….

  • Of course- they’re just trying to move old iPhones. I’m pretty sure the current $99 3G option is just to clear stock- I don’t think they’re producing that anymore.
