Android + Google Books on a mobile device sounds like a good play against kindle. You can already read kindle books on iphone. Not sure is android supports that. If only someone can figure out a good color e-ink… we can stop cutting down trees for paper.

It is, there are actually 2 apps with the same name.

This Transdroid is only available for the G1, which makes it the only app I’ve seen which is hardware-specific. Which sucks pretty hard tbh.
