Hey, Preeps! That’s what I’m calling you from now on. Your phone should soon be receiving the boon of webOS 1.0.3, a very incremental upgrade that fixes some Google Calendar and contact sync issues, as well as probably a few minor changes to your core apps.

All the information you need and more is available right here.

  • I’m only interested if it removes the NASCAR app.

  • one thing that i noticed immediately: google calendar synch was totally fixed – i had added in us holidays, other standard calendards, had also imported a ton of fb birthdays (via an fb utility to export in ical format) and all are now working and appearing – though not ‘tasks’ (still a huge issue)

also: battery life is definitely better (knock on wood, they must have closed multiple leaks)

also visible: when swiping emails to delete (by shoving right or left), the speed is *way* faster

reception has also been better (for phone calls, ’cause it’s also a phone ;)

  • Sounds like they’re trying, anyway. A good thing.
