I've been with T-Mobile for years. What draws me to them is 1) their selection of smartphones (I've had the Vario and Vario3 as well as the new G1) and 2) Their unlimited data plans. I surf on my phone all the time and I've always found their prices the most competitive. If these elements are maintained then I won't be too bothered.
