What in the hell is LG Mobile’s president smoking because this is the most absurd thing I’ve ever read. Becoming the #2 mobile phone maker in three years is one thing considering the fact that Samsung could and would destroy them at any time. But a new Black Label device to compete with the iPhone? Or a luxe brand on par with Nokia’s Vertu? Keep dreaming, Ahn.

Yeah, that ain’t happening. First they will have to get rid of that stupid non usb charger. I am having better luck with HTC than LG, Apple or Motorla at the moment.

I can definitely see this happening. LG has far surpassed many other phone manufacturers in the aspects of what people consider essential in picking a phone, applications… But 2012 is a long way away, and if I’m not mistaken, isn’t the world supposed to end that year anyways?

LG is a solid company, with really good LCD TVs, but a claim like this is just liable to make them look silly in a few years.

This claim is just silly. Why would any company CEO come out with such a claim. It’s very bold and stupid at the same time. What happens if in the next three years, they can;t compete and end up folding up, then what? They should just keep doing what they’re doing and if by some chance they become the #2, then that’s great.

Silly, really! I mean common, why compete with the iThing, it’s to easy to beat. Why not compete with the likes of Nokia, or other more superior products.

waiting patinetly for omneia II anyword. Never big fan of LG solely based on the fact they were once goldstar which sucked as, though they have come a long way
