Ohhhh – so thats why T-Mobile ignored all of the good names, instead opting to call their HTC Magic the “myTouch“: because they’re working the customizability angle.

And boy, are they working it hard. At today’s myTouch event, folks were given a USB stick with a little sneak-peek at what T-Mo had up their sleeve in terms of add-on toys. Skins? Check. Replacement battery covers, holsters, colored wrist straps, and battery extenders? Abso-friggin-lutely. Travel mugs with the myTouch logo with a handful of other accessories shoved inside? Er.. check.

Any accessory you can name, T-Mobile is probably making one for the myTouch. Well, except for tiny robot maids tasked only with keeping your myTouch clean. No word on that yet. Come on, T-mobile, get it together; the people need tiny robot maids.

  • I like the skull skin…simply adorable.

  • Is it me or does it seem like T-Mobile has become the carrier for kids and teenagers? The custom shells are too tacky but some of the other accessories looks okay. All the accessories could also be because of the high hopes T-Mobile has for the myTouch. http://ziggytek.com/

    • Now that you mention it, yeah…they kinda are the the carrier for kids. Each time I think T Mobile I think pink and PERKY!

I might get over it and get a myTouch. I just want a good Android phone…or maybe I’ll wait
      for Verizon ; )

    • he beauty part with the my touch is you make it what you want it to be. The skins you see are examples. with the my touch no one phone will be the same hence the name “my touch”. This phone is designed for everyone everyage group every skill level it is the alound perfect phone for everyone

  • i wouldnt say the carrier for kids but the carrier for families. the my-touch is just that “my”touch sou it is unlike anyother. better plans and features for handsets other than my-touch make it better carrier. this phone just makes the most attractive carrier with the most attractive phones
