While this will never happen to you ever, if you own an HTC running WinMo 6 or 6.1 you could get hacked if you accept Bluetooth connections from an untrusted source. Also if you accept Bluetooth connections from an untrusted source you deserve to be hacked.
The exploit uses the Bluetooth OBEX FTP service to crack into your filesystem and traverse directories, allowing your copy of BubbleBreaker fall into the wrong hands.
You can prevent this by buying a real smartphone and throwing your WinMo phone into the toilet.

gotta love the solution :P
Yeah, and buy an iphone with the possibility the hack it via sms, get a life moran!
Bluetooth? You’re kidding me right!
Windows Mobile can be infected in so many ways. All you need to do is to bundle a nasty executable with an otherwise normal application (might be your app or a tampered with CAB) and put that executable as a startup item. At reboot, that executable would copy itself (so it is not removed when uninstalling the CAB) and then launch its copy.
Then it’s up to that bugger to wreak havoc on the device.
Morans? Not morons? No? Irony. Love it.
The fact that you did not get it the first time probably means you shouldn’t be laughing.
You can prevent this kind of comments by getting a real job, moran. 1st get the facts straight, after you might start writing again!
I am always amazed how many connection attempts I get any time I turn my bluetooth on at a ballgame. It makes you wonder if anyone actually accepts these. And amusingly I am sure some do.
