As much as Samsung loves to claim a “world’s first” every single day of the week, I know they love to beat LG more than anything. Today is no different, folks. Samsung has unveiled an 11.98mm watchphone by the name of S9110.
That snazzy looking Dick Tracy watch features a 1.76-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, voice recognition, e-mail (Outlook!), speakerphone and a music player. Doesn’t that leather strap look fancy? Take a look at the clasp and don’t worry about the screen getting scratched either. The S9110 is due out in this month France for 450 Euro.

Great gadget! I love it. So when we will see it US?
I don’t like the idea of looking like James Bond, but paired with a bluetooth headset… maybe. But I think I’ll stick with iPhone like devices.
it’s Rely good and useful gadged,
Do you now this product have bad ray in your body?
bad ray…. you mean like the one you get straight in the brain with “regular” cellphones.. I’d rather get radiation in my wrist!!
Seems like it would great for when you are in your car.
I, for one, enjoy strapping devices to my person.
Outlook synchronization? What’s the point of that? It’s like having an early model pager where you’d get messages and couldn’t reply.
I’ll chalk this up as “bragging rights” technology. They proved they could…but there’s no practical use.
Eh…calculator watches went out in 1992 or so.
If only this could sync via bluetooth to…oh, I don’t know…an iPod Touch, no? Make simple phone tasks with the watch like phone calls and such, and then SMS, MMS, email, etc. with the iPod using a tethered connection.
Wishful thinking I know, but it would be the only way to text comfortably to someone, surf the web, and the such instead of trying to use that small space on the watch for said tasks.
