Here it is, folks. The T-Mobile myTouch 3G, the second Android device to hit US shores from HTC. John already reviewed the Hero, which is more or less the same device under the hood aside from the Sense UI. The only noticeable difference I can see on the myTouch 3G is the build of Cupcake it carries, COC10. Packaging is quite nice and comes with a set of earbuds, USB to 3.5mm adapter, carrying pouch, 4GB microSD card, screen protector and a fancy charger shaped exactly like the myTouch 3G. We’ll have a review in the next few days.

I can’t wait till you get the review online because I am greatly looking forward to reading it.
Hmm new build than my I/O developer phone. I wonder if we’ll get updates.
What build of Cupcake are you running, Chris?
Thats a pretty slick looking phone. I’m still calling it the HTC Magic though. MyTouch is just stupid sounding.
“John already reviewed the Hero, which is more or less the same device under the hood aside from the Sense UI.”
Is the MyTouch the Hero or the Magic?
It’s the Magic.
Whats with the giant yellow arrow? Thought it was kind of odd to point out something like email functionality on a smartphone.
Also, is there a locking button/function on that device somewhere? Sort of like what the Touch or iPhone has? I can’t stand devices that lack that feature after owning an iPod Touch, it just makes sense! None of that press this combination of this and that, etc.
The G1 doesn’t support Exchange and it won’t, which is why I’m pointing out the “Work Email” on the myTouch 3G.
It’s called the end call button just like it is on the G1.
Ah I see! I’m new to the whole HTC scene, obviously.
It seems though, that its kind of how the G1 should of been from the get-go? I don’t see why they don’t just call it the G2 or something. Pretty similar devices, really.
