This is a document that purports to show new Sprint WiMAX-having cities. It’s terribly exciting.
Some cities are bigger than others—San Antonio vs. Salem, for example—while Baltimore is actually do for an update. (All roads lead to Baltimore when it comes WiMAX.) Also, this are merely projections through the remainder of the year. It’ll still be a little while before other, bigger cities like New York and San Francisco get in on the WiMAX action.
Oh, and WiMAX, for you people who are blissfully unaware of its existence, is a wireless broadband technology. It’s still in the early stages of deployment around the U.S.

San Fransisco is bigger than Chicago?
Good story, bro.
The only real true city i see on there are Atlanta and Philadelphia. East Coast is always prioritized.
Regardless, no one cares. Sprint sucks and always will. So does their Palm Pre.
GO AT&T and iPhone!
Really? Boise, IA. How about Boise, ID.
So, this is for sprint customers only?
Yeah, shame, huh? The Nascar-loving hicks that have Sprint. Every Sprint customer has a southern twang and/or loves Nascar. Automatically I deduct 200 IQ Points.
Same with Verizon.
Don’t worry, AT&T will catch up. Give them some time. The’re far superior in many ways.
Wow! How shallow you are. Verizon’s coverage is far superior to AT&T in the southeast so why would I want to have AT&T’s service? BTW- I am a Georgia native but I do not have an accent, nor do I love Nascar. When AT&T builds the network up to where its comparable to Verizon’s coverage I’ll give it another look but not until then.
Pakistan Rocks, We’ve got WiMax in most of our major cities from last 2 years. Thats around 25 cities :P
