What do we have here? The new hotness? mhmm. The HTC Touch Pro 2 is still a while away from being launched but somehow it was placed in front of a camera lens. Overall, it looks great with a clever eatching of the world on the backplate, a 3.5mm jack on the bottom, and a sleek design when it’s closed. Hopefully the keyboard works as well as it looks. According to the tipster, Verizon will probably have the phone sometime in early September.
Look’s good, I’ve been waiting for this release, but I wonder if Verizon will do the usual and cripple the phone.
Apparently not. Several people with the Verizon TP2 currently in their hands, have come out of the woodwork since these pics were leaked, and all have confirmed that its specs are identical to other versions. Specifically RAM. Obviously they’re not going to restrict GPS, since they just updated the TP1 to unrestrict it.
I’m trying to find out if this phone will do voice and data simultaneously? It will on T-Mobile (GSM), but I’m not sure about Verizon’s CDMA. Anybody know?
nope, CDMA networks don’t support it. LTE will though when that comes out.
i’m not saying that this phone supports LTE.
I have been waiting for this phone from Verizon! I need to upgrade my Touch Pro and am hoping that this phone will deliver all it promises!!
