Total and utter b*llshit or so I’m lead to believe according to our friends at HTC. Cole Brodman vehemently said during the myTouch 3G event last month that T-Mobile has no plans to carry the Hero in the US. A Sprint Hero is still more likely for the US.

Update: It’s been confirmed to us by HTC that the image you see above was a photoshop job.
This is BS, , at least with the Sprint screenshot, if you increment a value in the URL you eventually hit the HTC Hero (Sprint) page, it was up for a very short while but at least it was real.
I highly doubt this one is real since they have already coded the “in-development” page to redirect you to the main support page.

tmobile is also getting galaxy and bigfoot and morrison i wouldn’t be suprised tmobile will get hero. TMobile won’t tell they will release a phone until 1month before it will arrive as seen as mytouch. they just want to sell mytouch and also hopefully sell hero

I agree they are going to have many more Android phones but I was saying the next one this year will be the Morrison and not the Hero.
It makes no sense to release 2 HTC Android phones within a few month span.
This is such a sweet phone! Looks like I will have to replace my G1 with it. :)
