Well htc is giving good competition for its rivals .however hero looks better than this..
The only advantage of the Hero is that it doesn’t have windows mobile, aside from that, the TP2 seems to be the better choice.

The OS is what makes the phone, if Hero’s only advantage is that it doesn’t have WM, then how could it be the better choice. I myself will only ever use WM, that’s why I want the TP2.

I think it’s a great device, I had it for a day and I liked the improvements done with the screen sensitivity, performance and overall design.
But, I would wait before I buy a 6.1 device, now that 6.5 is just around the corner.
Who needs to risk an upgrade when a brand new device can be purchased with everything built in?

You can always just re-flash it with wm 6.5 even if it has 5.1
check out ppcgeeks.com and you will find all kinds of updates. Verizon is probably going to get a lot of business because of the price. I’m actually thinking about leaving sprint and going to verizon because i dont want to pay the $150 more.
