itunes-9-no-pre-sync

Looks like the never-ending “sync war” between Apple and Palm continues to rage on. According to numerous PreCentral forum contributors, iTunes 9 does NOT sync with their beloved Pres. What now, Palm?

  • Thats Good…Palm should hire a software engineer and create its own UI like Blackberry…

But i guess palm is a baby theif who likes to steal others stuff…

    Boring Palm,,,copy cat

    • Yes, Palm is a boring copy cat because they want to be able to sync music to one of the most widely used media player in the world. Really? You expect every company to build their own media player if they have a device that plays music? How about Apple loosens up on their restrictions, not even Microsoft is that bad.

  • You’ve got the icons switched around in your image. Palm has been around for ages and can’t make a decent desktop music player or store to save it’s life, that’s vader. The new kid on the block is changing things and not letting the old fogeys push people around anymore with shitty products.

That said, the Pre is cool. Just needs the desktop apps/syncing/store solution to back it up.

  • Way to go Apple. You have surpassed Microsoft for being the ultimate d1ck.

But Palm really should have developed their own iCrapper download system knowing Apple would do this.

I wonder if they can hook into the Android/Amazon system.

    • Oh yeah, protecting your property, what a bunch of a-holes! Hey man, by the way I’m coming by your place later to borrow your computer indefinitely. What? I can’t have it? Man you’re such a d1ck!

      • Because iTunes doesn’t generate any kind of money at all from non-apple users. That’s preposterous!

      • We’ll either way I believe they are doing Palm a favor. I once installed iTunes on my pc and could not get it off fast enough. With streaming players like last.fm and pandora I don’t listen to mp3 much anymore.

        • Yep itunes can be a real pain in the Ass. to this day I still get system lock ups from using it and my ipod need a reset whenever I sync which is daily. I don’t see what all the fuss with itunes is, if you got a Palm there are other media players that will sync it. then just get your music from Amazon.

  • I think the feature of iTune 9 is very upgraded and few more added feature on compare of old one like iTune 8 so its ok if it doesn’t sync with the Pre..
As per my experience for iTune 9, its really a very nice on compare of any of old one..

  • Such a disappointment, for some reason or another I was hoping Apple would finally rid us of this horribly slow application for MS Windows and rewrite it using native Windows API. Worst part of it all, it’s still not 100% compatible with Windows 7 64-bit RTM.

New features are nice for the iPhone, but that’s about it.
