Ready to dump out a chunk of change to AT&T for your next smartphone? Need to know how much to pull out of the “non-essentials” (food, hygiene, etc) savings? This might help.

BGR managed to finagle some details over the weekend, shedding a light on the price points for the HTC Pure (Touch2), HTC Tilt2 (Touch Pro2), along with the long-fabled Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60.

According to what they’re hearing, pricing is as following:

  • Tilt2: $199.99 ($149.99 after mail in rebate) with contract, launching around mid-October.
  • Touch Pro2: $299.99 with contract, making their Touch Pro2 cheaper than T-Mobile and Sprint’s, but not Verizon’s.
  • nuvifone G60: $299.99 with contract, which seems pretty damn high to us when compared to other handsets that AT&T offers for less.

So what do you think – are any of these calling your name? Are you as shocked as we are to see the nuvifone G60 finally coming stateside?

  • was waiting for nuviphone to announce the carrier back in the day, was hoping for verizon, but disappointed again. Then was waiting for omnia 2 with verizon, would still be waiting. So i got the touch pro 2. $149 couldnt say no. i like it a lot but opera to always recognize my touch for links it just higlights the damn words. and media player could use a tune up. Now i just wait for winmo 6.5 and hope for the best

  • The original report says pure is the “touch DIAMOND 2″, not the touch 2 – a totally different phone. Was this a mistake, or an update to the BGR report?

  • Tilt 2 and Touch Pro 2 are actually the same, so what actually do you mean??

    • napie – Yeah, the tilt 2 and the tp2 are the same. I wasn’t talking about that at all. I was referring to the fact that this story says the PURE will be a TOUCH2, where the original BGR story says the Pure is a TDiamond2. That was my point… nothing to do w/the tp2 or tilt/2

The TP2 and Touch 2 are completely different phones, maybe that wasn’t clear?
