While this certainly isn’t the first time — we’ve seen a music video shot on an iPhone (or even the first time one has been shot with the 3GS), it is the first time we’ve seen it done by someone with.. you know, money.
Rapper Paul Wall, who’s other job is making and selling platinum and diamond jewelry for your teeth, released a video last night shot from end-to-end on the 3GS. It’s not exactly raw footage (every shot has scene some hardcore post processing), and we’re still not sure why a man who can afford diamonds in his mouth would use an iPhone 3GS to shoot his videos — but either way, we’re still impressed.
So it’s a VGA quality music video? Congrats, you got to use your new toy to shoot the music video at a major detriment to the quality of said video.
Good thing the REALLY high quality song saves it.
Retarded.. This is like asking Michael Jordan to go clean the bathroom rather than play shooting guard. At least give the 3GS something worth wasting its battery on.

I’d really like to see the entire video shot and processed on a mobile. video/audio/effects. There are enough programs out there to do it… why not put it to the test.
It’s great that effects can be used to enhance the a/v but to use high-end equip after the fact makes it pointless (like those above said). No?
Huh. The whole video was shot on an iPhone, but then encoded in a way that prevents me from being able to watch it on my iPhone. Awesome.
