When your country can’t have a Palm Pre you might as well make your own. This is a “half-iPhone, half-Blackberry” device with slide out keyboard running the Ophone OS.
The phone includes a slide-to-unlock feature along with analog TV and FM radio playback and “Java Application.”
The Ophone OS is essentially China’s answer to Android with a number of standard features built-in over the Android kernel. It’s essentially free and is pretty close to what you’d expect out of a smartphone clone. No pricing or availability.

A stereotypical fake Japanese accent to announce a knock off Chinese product…
Stay classy.
What a dismal headline.
Wow, racist much? Were you also making the ’slant eyes’ gesture while you were thinking of this headline?
*facepalm*
You deserve any and all the grief you get for that headline.
It’s 2009 … did you get that memo?
yeah, I know. I’m an ass.
Wow, stereotypical and racist? Seriously?
Yeah, if you’re gonna spread the love, why don’t you tackle the Indians next? It’s not like they are even at the copying stage yet. I mean, now that ‘racism’ is like, okay on the ‘crunch.
This is a seriously killer rig for the Chinese or anyone out in the sticks. No 3G? No problem.
No price? Hell, sign me up!
Best headline I’ve read in ages. You guys need to lighten up a little.
all the PC police now calm down, ok we see you working up your fake indignance. Life can go on. Someone could have cooked up a stereotypical Canadian or Midwest accent headline and no one would give a rip. Get a life people.
Parm Ple FTW.
