So when do we get the side-by-side comparison with the Droid? :P
Yeah!. Finally a worthy competitor to the iPhone and a very competitive price at that.
Can you imagine this phone 9 months from now ?. It will leave iPhone so far behind, I am not sure anyone except kids would want the once coverted iPhone anymore ….
FrankieTeo, I think you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. This phone uses the old ARM11 processor of the *original* iPhone, Android 1.5 (all the hotness is on 2.0), and only has 256 MB of *internal* memory and a measly 8 GB SD card.
Next time, please pay closer attention.
Scott, if the Hero is getting Android 2.0, what makes you think the Droid Eris won’t? The only reason it’s taking longer than for the standard Droid is because HTC needs to update Sense UI for the new version.
No, the processor isn’t all that great, but what do you expect? This is the “budget” Android phone on Verizon. Us Sprint users pay $80 more for essentially the same hardware. (With a slightly nicer design, in my opinion.)
Ouch. FrankieT just got powned.
wah so cool. i love HTC models. Is it available in any of the Asian countries?
A phone could beat the pants off of the iPhone in specs, visual appeal, usability, and by every measure imaginable – except for one: it doesn’t have the Apple logo.
There is too large of an “Apple fanboy” base out there; their size, [blind] loyalty, and spineless conceit will never be reduced.
There already are phones that are better than the iPhone – plenty of them – but it doesn’t matter. Apple is the king of anti-openness and customer brainwashing.
This mobile set made my the Apple company had many cool features…

Definitely worth $100.
Looks like it uses the same wallpaper size as an iPhone too. :)
