There you were, just this morning, sitting over your latté. “When the hell is the pricing for the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and/or Samsung Behold 2 going to leak?”, you thought. Both handsets are coming within roughly a week or so, yet there was still no word on how much you needed to set aside? Pardon my french, friends, but that is shenanigans.
Fortunately, its been dealt with.
TmoNews got their hands on this pricing sheet, which breaks it all right on down: the BlackBerry Bold 9700 (review here) will set you back $199 on contract or, if you’re not lookin’ to sign your mobile life away for two years, a one-time payment of $449 bucks. The Samsung Behold 2 will.. cost the exact same amount on both counts.
Anyone out there preppin’ their wallets for either of these handsets?

I just went into my local Tmo store and confirmed the BB is comijg next Monday (16th). I will be getting one of those bad boys the day they come out
The bold didn’t get a great review from the WSJ… It’s due Nov. 27th, according to Wall Street Journal’s Katie Boehret, in this video review http://macspotlight.blogspot.com/2009/11/wall-street-journal-blackberry-bold.html
She wasn’t too shy with the review she ended of by saying “But since many of the Bold 9700’s features are about the same as less-expensive BlackBerrys, it’s worth considering the Tour and Curve 8900 before you spend $200 on a device that no longer lives up to its bold name.”
I’ll probably pick up the Behold 2. Here in Philly we’re the suppa fast 3G test market. It will be interesting to see if the phone can keep up.
