Remember the iTwinge, that crazy slide-on plastic sheath for the iPhone that would give you a physical keyboard by overlaying real buttons on top of the virtual ones? The 4iThumbs keypad is just like that, except it’s clear, rather than opaque black. Oh, and it requires you to stick a bunch of adhesive crap all over your iPhone.
Good idea? Bad idea? I’ll leave that call up to you – I’m too distracted by their waaaay cheesy commercial (starring not-Justin-Long and not-John-Hodgeman) to think about it. Word? Word. One more video after the jump.

Because I want to put just a ton of adhesive on both sides of my phone.
very little adhesive you have to see it and the adhesive comes off without leaving any residue.
Why does he hold up a Palm phone and say he’s a blackberry? This is embarrassing.
maybe to get your attention as a joke
Seriously? Who, after using the iphones keyboard for a week can’t type just as fast as before?
Ask any iphone user if they are still having problems after a few weeks….I would be surprised to hear anyone that is.
no i like the original one better…

That has to be the cheesiest/worst acting I’ve seen in a long time. And they think that people will find this clever? Really??
I’m embarrassed for that company for putting out such a lousy piece of,…whatever it is.
Just stupid…
I will stay clear of the product just because of that commercial.
we’re sorry but don’t deprive your self of a good product because they tired to be funny and didn’t succeed.
I just noticed something else, that bonehead isn’t even holding a Blackberry.
It’s a Treo.
Stupid, stupid, stupid…
we tried to have some fun
The blackberry/palm treo mixup is kinda messed up, but I like the ads and kinda enjoy the concept. Still a pity you turn out with something sticked to the top and bottom of your iphone :/
the adhesive stays on all the time you use the product. When or if you take it off the iPone is like new . It comes off very easily.

I bought this for my secretary who has got an iPhone. She lovvvveesss the iPhone but doesn’t like the flat keyboard. When I gave this to her, her first response was, “What the hell is this.” I explain to her that it’s a guide for her fingers for the iphone keyboard. I went ahead and installed it for her and she liked it. I tried playing with it for a few minutes and saw that the design is pretty sleek and the bumps didn’t get in the way of any of my apps, the whole thing is totally invisible. Help keep the finger cradled on the key so I bought one myself.
