Outside of a completely simulated appearance in a commercial, we’ve been hard-pressed in finding any video of the LG eXpo’s projector attachment in action. We expected to see some hit the Tubes after the handset launched last week – alas, the projector accessory still hasn’t hit the shelves.
Fortunately, the guys over at MobileSyrup have managed to scrounge one up north of the border. Their verdict? It “looks good” (looks a bit dim to us, even in the blacked out room) but the projection unit gets surprisingly warm with use. That’s probably pretty unavoidable given the concept of slamming a projector into an itsy-bitsy box – just be sure to give it a minute or two to cool down before you stuff it back into your pants. There’s sensitive stuff down there, you know?

The projector looks 100x better in person. I’ve seen one in action with the LG expo, and it truly needs to be experienced in person, a video simply doesn’t do it justice.
Will be a cool feature I think. Hope they can get some available in the US soon…
Am I the only person kinda fearing a future where projectors like this are commonplace? You folks remember the chaos when laser pointers became cheap and common?
Imagine a future where Mrs. Mathteacher has her back to the class….scribbling some fractions or whatever on the chalkboard. Suddenly lemonparty.jpg is projected next to her head. She spins around quickly hoping to find the culprit…instead there’s just 30 innocent faces smiling at her.
Part of me fears this coming technology.. ..another part of me wishes I was still young enough to pull such pranks. :)
I’m still cracking up about the video selection!
Sorry, I can’t help it (as I wipe the tears out of my eyes). That fishing guy just has some rotten luck, but its sooo funny sometimes.
LOLOLOLOLOL!!!
ROFL!!!
Am I the only one who sees this be a major problem ?
Imagine you’re using this in a meeting or doing a presentation, and all of a sudden your girlfriend/boyfriend decides to send you one of THOSE text messages, or worse…one of THOSE pictures.
I sure hope you remember to disable all popup notifications before you start your show. Or it may end up quite the show, just not one you’re expecting.

That’s why you keep your business line and your personal line seperate… Either that, or remove the sim card before you use it in said meetings and/or presentations.
