We’re live from Palm’s CES 2010 Press Event, where they’re expected to announce … something. Will they tell us which two phones AT&T will be carrying? Will they finally confirm that they’ve got handsets heading to Verizon?
We’ll keep the live blog goin’ as long as the mighty mobile broadband overlords allow – follow along after the jump.

Maybe they’ll tell us that they’re switching to Android.
Bad idea lol
This is so cool! Just like being there! Thanks!
Now you’re there, can you ask them when they expect the palm pre to be available in Belgium (small country, north of France, actual intors of fries) during the Q & A?
When I said palm pre, I meant palm pre plus, ok?
who gives a fuck for palm anymore anyways??
People who like gadgets?
Folks who need a good agenda and are very fond of the idea that different protocols from the same contact appear in one place.
Awesome! Thanks for taking us along with you. I want one! :)
Wait Wait Wait! Did they pay for the Pre?
They say it not what you know it who you know I say it not who you know it who know you!
It is settled. My next phone is a webOS phone.
Presumably he meant it is the first time real flash is on a device other than the actual first time we saw it on the Nexus two days ago.
Actually, Flash 10.1 was demoed on a Palm Pre way back in September I think by Adobe. It’s on YouTube and Adobe’s site.
He said available not demoed.
only the N900 has real full flash support, no?
I wish i was there!
sucks that have to buy a new pre to get the tethering…
You can get wifi tethering on the Pre already. http://mytether.net/
Cool product enhancements – video, Flash, mobile hotspot (would like this on Sprint…). Plus the developer program is now open.
Thanks for the constant updating! This seemed like the place to be – I’d like to check it out sometime.
thanks for the heads up…I spent half a day trouble shooting my Pre to allow tethering…so to find out wifi “hotspot-ness” will be built in is exciting. Good reporting. Check my website and blogtalkradio.com/thetechtalkshow. – Odee O
In other words, mostly blah blah blah –
But we will pay developers that have lots of downloads, making this a phone a dev might actually want to work for.
Together with the easiest to use dev tools in the industry,
I think people underestimate what Palm is doing.
