Two things.
First of all: No, the image has absolutely nothing to do with the post. It was between “Stock photo of a bunch of survey check boxes” and this picture of a cat with a human smile – which would you have chosen?
Second: Please take this reader survey. We’re working on some awesome new stuff moving forward, and knowing a bit more about our readers would really help make it happen. It’ll only take a moment, and I’d really appreciate it.
You might want to consider adding an “other” category which allows write-in for the job title question.
…or at least slip in “CTO/Tech Director” and “Retired” as options…

As for the job title question, maybe some of us are freelancers. No option for that though.
Yeah – sorry for the shortcomings of the survey, I know there are a few. I’ve passed these comments onto the dudes in charge of the survey, hopefully they fix it.
Ya– seems like the “role in your company” question really meant, “What sort of VP/manager are you?”
