It’s time. After months of whispers, leaks, lost prototypes, and police raids, it all leads up to this: Steve Jobs’ keynote at WWDC 2010.
Will the prototype fourth-generation iPhone we’ve seen so much of be the real deal? Do Steve and co. have any tricks up their sleeves to satisfy their ever more rabid fan base? Follow along as we liveblog every minute of the action from the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.

Its good to see Steve Jobs pulling this one, even we already have seen those leaks before. I think it’s not only great. But Magical as well, in a sense that they manage to improve the 3GS iPhone.
Although, I was realy hoping that announcement of iPhone landing on Red V. Anyway, I guess we’ll know more sooner. All the questions about iPhone 4 answered...

Except this is like the xmas when you’re like 12-14 and santas out of the bag and you have already found your hidden gifts or cut the tape on the gifts and carefully sealed them up again. It’s still fun for you and there might be 1 or 2 surprise “gifts” but the magic that once was is gone. But I agree I’ll be glued to my laptop with info coming from multiple sites. Can’t wait!
So sad the time difference is out for us in Australia. I’ll be sleeping unfortunately as WWDC and the iphone is unveiled.

It’s good to live on the east coast. Wake up at 10*. Drink coffee talk with wife for an hour. Spend an hour reading through tech. news. Eat lunch and then prep for WWDC. *working from home certainly helps with this life style. ;-)

Not excited actually, as we are aware of whats going to be announced…
I found it funny that Jobs still did his ‘one more thing’ routine that is normally reserved for wtf reveals, when all he revealed was what had already been discovered. We hadn’t seen the execution, which looks great, but video chat was not too much of a shocker.
So psyched. Let’s get this show on the road!

Yeah, a classic for sure!
All in all, a very nice upgrade to the iPhone, but I am not the only one that is still disappointed that we didn’t get news of a Verizon launch today too. One has to believe it is coming in January with AT&T giving a 6 month early upgrade option to existing iPhone subscribers in order to lock them in for two more years.
Either that or they just want to lock in as many 3G iPhones before the LTE iPhone 4G comes out next year. Not to mention getting more people on the $375 early termination plan, and the new limited data plan with overage fees.
I wonder how many people on the production side of this event were shitting their pants wondering how they were going to make a video call when the New York Times wouldn’t even load.
Gyroscope + Core Animation thats awesome to develop games….
5 megapixel camera…cammon you can do better then that. at least give us a 8 megapixel
