Man! Just minutes ago, I was having trouble explaining just how damned good the iPhone 4′s display looks in person. Then I remembered this shot.

Click in for the full size shot — it’s worth the 5 second download.

To be honest, it’s hard to look at the 3GS’ display the same way again after spending time with its bigger, badder brother.

  • i think any current smartphone with wvga res. would make the iPhone 3GS’ screen look like crap

    • True. The 3GS is a 163ppi display which is a bit mince these days. Saying that the iPhone 4′s is really good and comparable to a SAMOLED.

  • The 3GS (I assume it’s the one on the right) has fingerprints all over it. Plus, it doesn’t get the full blast of the lighting above (you can see it reflecting off the screen at the left).

I’d like someone say what use a “pretty” screen has? What do more pixels do for me? Make a crazy-hi-res picture look a little better? Sure. Functionally, what does it do? Text is a little crisper; fine. But I can zoom with the pinch of a couple fingers and “boom,” text is legible. I would like to see the iPhone 4 and something with a 4″+ screen (EVO being the current champ) next to each other and see how much of a webpage I can read legibly. If I can read 100% of a page with a 4.3″ screen, can I read that much with the 3.5″ on the iPhone 4? More importantly, is it as EASY to read that much with the iPhone 4?

If the iPhone wasn’t wasting all the space with its massive bezel, it could easily fit more screen in there. I suppose iPhone lovers want something pretty rather than something functional. Personally, I’d rather go buy a nice digital pictureframe if I just want something to see pretty pictures on that looks nice sitting on a table.

    • The lighting has NOTHING to do with the clarity of the icons. Did you actually enlarge the image? With your reading glasses on?

      • On a physics note, the new phone, being thinner, has a longer focal point. This is important to note as this is a closeup shot. Still, the more pixels the better up to the point that the eye can no longer distinguish the pixels individually.

    • “If the iPhone wasn’t wasting all the space with its massive bezel, it could easily fit more screen in there.”

I’m glad an expert industrial designer like you can come in here and tell us, and Apple, just how easy something is. Do you have any idea how arrogant and uninformed you sound?

Good luck with your Evo that can’t even last a full day on standby. I’ll take the new iPhone 4 with a higher resolution screen than a glossy magazine.

      • Super Mario Super Show - June 7th, 2010 at 9:43 pm UTC

Right, because you have to be an expert industrial designer to discern that a bigger screen would be nicer than the same screen size Apple has used for what… running on 4 years now? And that extra bezel above being replaced with a little extra screen room can be a bad thing, right?

Oh, and Evo can very easily last a full day on standby.

        • Clearly Mike Rundle needs an industry expert to tell him when he is hungry or needs the toilet! Bigger screen equals easier to see dufus. I personally like the iphone and its a pretty phone and shiny too. I’m a little bit like a magpie actually. Iphone 4 looks lush!

        • Apple claims iPhone 4 will last almost 2 weeks on standby, and judging by their iPad numbers that’s being conservative.

          If you’re comparing specs.

      • Look- It’s stupid to not have offered a bigger screen alongside the puny 3.5. Yes it would have been easy for them to make a bigger screen. Have you seen the iPad? All that awesome res on that small screen?? With Netflix and other medIa in the wings, (which explains the new data plans) it should have a 4+in screen. Why would I want to watch all that on the same puny screen I’m typing on now? I love Apple stuff, but they dropped the ball for us media lovers.

      • Look- It’s stupid to not have offered a bigger screen alongside the puny 3.5. And yes, of course it would have been easy for them to make a bigger screen. Have you seen the iPad? I think a 4.3 or whatever screen is within their abilties. All that awesome res on that small screen?? With Netflix and other high-res medIa waiting in the wings, (which explains the new data plans) it should have a 4+in screen. Why would I want to watch all that on the same puny screen I’m typing on now? I love Apple stuff, but they dropped the ball for us media lovers. Say what you want, but if a 4.3. and a 3.5 were offered which do you think would sell more? The 4.3 hands down.

        • Better than increasing the cost of production by having multiple screen sizes. Doesn’t sound too stupid. Sounds like business.

        • Right. Better to have 1 design shape. Oh wait. They still are making the 3gs that will have a different shape than the i4. I wonder if that will increase production cost. Maybe they shouldn’t make the iPad. It has a bigger screen than the iPhone. Hmm- I wonder if a 4.3 screen size as well as a 3.5 would have the production cost offset by the fact that customers would buy them? Hmm- things to ponder.

        • oh really? then how the fuck did the iphone 4 sells 2 million times in its first week idiot.

    • bitter bitter bitter .. thats how your text sounds :-)
the screen in perfect to look at, and the size is a good compromise. the iphone 4 specs promise alot. now I finally will get an iphone :-) this is it!!

    • Why do android fanboys feel the need to try and bash the iPhone constantly…I think there’s an inferiority complex going on here.

    • should have gone to specsavers!

  • The iPhone 4 and a pair of reading glasses will make for a better display than an EVO.

I’m semi-serious about that. If you hold the iPhone 4 about 23% closer to your face than the EVO, the two screens will look equally big. But the iPhone 4′s screen will still be much sharper.

    • But that’s the point, isn’t it? Before this came up, what was the average distance you held the phone from your eyes while reading and using apps (playing games)? My vision is pretty good (I don’t need my glasses but I do have a slight astigmatism) and I hold my phone between 16″-20″ away from my eyes. I have no desire to hold it any closer, even while playing games. The phone in question is a Nexus One with a 3.7″ display and 800×480 pixel display, and I can’t see the pixels at this range. I briefly checked out the Evo 4G (I should get to play with it some more tomorrow) and I’d like to have a larger screen so I can see everything even bigger at the range I comfortably hold it at. Also, having a bigger screen will make it more useful when mounted on the windshield while using it as a GPS.

For comparison, the distance from my eye to my laptop display is around 25″, and probably a good 30″ or so from my 24″ Dell IPS panel. While I can appreciate the effort put into using more pixels per inch, if I can’t see it the way I’m using it, then they’re only taxing the GPU further and not really helping. So yes, some of us would really rather have a larger display and have good reasons for it.

    • And if you sit 1 foot from a 19″ screen it is just as big as movie theater screen.

  • Holy crap that’s awesome.

  • Of course the new iPhone looks better, the picture is twice as big.

  • Screen Res. Cmon. You guys buy into this nonsense. Its meaningless. Once again gushing over nothing. You have to pay to make ringtones. From your own music that’s criminal! I download all the music I want from any source I want with android. Apple just puts you in this trance so you can’t see how your being scull f**cked.

    • Hey, having to pay for legit music isn’t Apple’s fault, so shut up. Just because you can download music illegally on your Android doesn’t make the iPhone a bad product. It might even make it a better product, because it doesn’t encourage criminal behavior.

And for the record, I’m not an Apple fanboy. I don’t own any Apple products. Just using some common sense here.

      • I think he’s pointing out that once you “legally” buy music from iTunes, greedy Apple then charges you again to make a ringtone you already legally have a right to play. Whether it plays when someone calls when you have your iPod on is irelevent. It shows how greedy Appevil is. I like my 3gs, but it really is just a bunch of apps on a black screen of pages. There’s no sexy to it. I know the new one will have wallpaper, but if that’s the best we can hope for as far as customization, then I’m ready for an EVO. (unlocked of course- because I’d never use the Sprint network)

    • That’s pretty subjective, for example in my opinion ringtones are for children.

      • You can have “mature” ringtones on your phone. It’s just nice to have a efferent tone alert in a world of millions of iPhone owners that are often right next to you when their phone rings. It’s also nice to have a different SMS/text sound for that same reason. How many times have you been in a crowded area and heard the familiar tone of an iPhone and watched how many people checked their pants or purse to see if it was their phone?

    • @Jesse h. I will now dismiss anything else you say because you know nothing. I make my ringtones for free using iTunes all the time. You’re beginning to make me believe Apple users are smarter than most other users (Not really true because apple products are simple to use).

    • you dont have to pay for ringtones, just download them from sites straight to the ringtone folder in itunes

    • Actually you can make free ringtones with a mac. There is a program called garage band. I can make them myself from anywhere on the song. So you can buy or download free music and make a ringtone. Thank you.

    • Do you wish you knew how to spell?

  • People always fail to understand resolution and dpi

in short, any image will look better on iPhone than the evo.
    Done.

  • The evo just plain sucks. I tossed mine after a week and went back to my 3gs. Apple has much more polish. Just because you got suckered into buying the android crap like it did is no reason to sound bitter at apple.

  • That much of a res increase in the same size screen is NOT needed. A small increase was indeed needed, but what they did is too much and as someone above already rightly noted, it just taxes the GPU more for no reason increasing heat and battery consumption. The resolution they bumped up to would only be useful if the screen size was increased, one of the things most other companies will likely be doing, and something that Apple has missed the head of the nail on.
And with Apple thinking people like “portable” giant Ipod Touches aka iPad, I just don’t know why they missed this.

  • You guy’s should get a job as writers for the home shopping network. Focus on a fairly insignificant feature and talk like it’s the greatest thing ever invented. Steve Jobs would fit right in on the home shopping network.

  • Ooh, the icons are less pixelated! If I were you’d I’d run out and buy one as fast as possible at any price. Then… I’d brag about it, a lot. You WILL be the coolest kid in town.

  • the phone sucks period. I will wait till this holiday season something better faster stronger will be coming out by then. till then I will still continue to enjoy my samsung intrepid.

    • Mild Mannered Professor - June 8th, 2010 at 11:58 am UTC

Why not wait till the following Christmas for the newest and greatest then or no, wait for another year or…….duhh!

      • Sir you are very smart and so right I will wait for 5 years for the next best thing it will be embedded in my brain and I will see virtual screens pop up in front of my kind of like in heavy rain and I will play virtual games as well as do all kinds of cool phone things like talk chat text video mms S&M you name it, it will do it.

  • I have a 3G and I’ve been waiting, and waiting, to replace it. I want another iPhone, but that small 3.5 screen just won’t cut it. As much as I don’t want Android, I might not have any choice. I just can’t get excited about a 3.5 inch screen no matter how clear or high the resolution. I’ve very disappointed.

    • miles and miles - June 9th, 2010 at 6:41 am UTC

HI I like the idea of a bigger screen, but in reality they are just impractical the iphone 3,5 inch screen size makes it just about right it fills up one pocket with keys and wallet in the other, if it was any bigger it would just start getting too unwieldy and cumbersome. If you want some thing bigger get an ipad or laptop

    • You’re right. That screen size is a deal breaker for me. All the new media apps coming soon on a 3.5 just ain’t gonna cut it. Get rid of all the wasted space on the screen. Do we really need over an inch worth of black collective space on the front? No.

      • Glad the Apple engineers decided to join the discussion. ;)

        • Hey- let those engineers know that most phones have a “delete all” option in the text MSG app. Not one that simply removes the message while leaving all the other info on there. When you get a lot of SMS msgs, swiping and deleting those messages one at a time is stupid.

        • Oh yes, there are a lot of things Apple hasn’t gotten right yet. Another that peves me is the ability to delete one call in the recent list. How bass ackwards is that. Jailbreak to the rescue.

  • It was hard to look at the 3GS screen after the Droid came out over 6 months ago.

  • What is VERIZON. are you people dumb, do you know what is the big difference between CDMA vs GSM, CDMA= Code division multiple access . code division ok sure that cool. but multiple access ???? wow thank you verizon for the lie. you can’t do no multitask on verizon why would i ever get something like that when we are always on the go. really think about it. your bestfriend is trying so hard to get to your new house. your internet is not working, beacuse you just move to you new house. You haven’t had the time to call the provider for your internet. what you do now your poor friend is going crazy tell you why did you move. you are like don’t worry. i have my cell to look it up . you go to google maps and give your best friend in the world directions at the same time you still talking to him on your cell. can you do that Code division multiple access aka VERIZON. i don’t think so hahahahah. ok take a good look and really people think about this one GSM = Global System for Mobile Communications: no game but that sound like something i been look for, read it again Global….. System….. for Mobile Communications….. global yes, i don’t only want to use my phone in u.s for what lol. Communications yes that what we all do and all want. i love gsm. this is why, GSM is the most popular standard for mobile telephony systems in the world. The GSM Association, its promoting industry trade organization of mobile phone carriers and manufacturers, estimates that 80% of the global mobile market uses the standard. GSM is used by over 4.3 billion people across more than 212 countries and territories. look at the fact people shit.
Worldwide: There is a special number that every GSM compatible device in the world can call in case of an emergency. That number is 112. But in CDMA, this cannot be implemented because of certain technological limitations.

GSM vs CDMA Worldwide Score: GSM scores. Goal count 3-2

Battery Life: GSM, being a relatively simpler technology, uses less amount of cell phone battery than CDMA.

GSM vs CDMA Battery Life Score: GSM scores. Goal count 4-2

Coverage: GSM and CDMA, both have similar network coverage areas. They are present almost everywhere. The service providers of both technologies are striving hard to cover whatever inches that are left.

GSM vs CDMA Coverage Score: Both score. Goal count 5-3

Speed: Both GSM and CDMA are rapidly improving their capabilities in this regard. Both have introduced 3G mobile phones in their fold. Both are competing to gain space in this area.

GSM vs CDMA Speed Score: Both score. Goal count 6-4

Building Penetration: Again, in initial days, both technologies couldn’t find building penetration, but after research in signaling systems, and through experience, service providers of both technologies have been able to give decent service to the mobile phones in buildings.

GSM vs CDMA Penetration Score: Both score. Goal count 7-5

GSM vs CDMA: Which is Better?

Both have their good qualities and bad qualities. GSM has some limitations where call quality is concerned, but GSM can be easily implemented and easily integrated into existing technology. Whereas, CDMA is little difficult to implement. By my estimation, GSM has an upper hand. So, the answer to the question, “GSM vs CDMA which is better?” is GSM.

    • I can honestly say that I’ve been a smartphone user for 10 years and I have never once even attempted to be on the phone and accessing the internet at the same time.

You know what I care about? Being able to get connected to the network. 100% advantage Verizon.

      • You’ve never been on a call and wanted to look something up on the web? This is literally a daily occurrence for me when I’m working.

      • I do it all the time. Was on hold yesterday in fact. I was able to check my bank, pay a bill and browse eBay while on ridiculous hold. Yes it is nice to do both. I’m able to play online games while talking to the person I’m playing with. I live in Alaska and the 3g coverage is phenominal. I drove almost 400 miles away instate, had reception (not always 3g) most of the time. Love my iPhone, but the new one needed a bigger screen (side note)

    • Wow! It never ceases to amaze me when it comes to people like you, making every attempt to sound technical and so knowledgeable. You should read up more on what exactly CMDA is and just because the MA stands for multiple access, it does not mean you have multitasking like you are are referring to.

You’re as bad as AT&T and the way they twist their TV ads to make them look better than they really are.

    • Wow. Novel much?

  • Apple could improve Macbook 13″ pixel density like this…

  • Resolution/dpi matters people, it really does and this is the first touchmobile i’ve seen with good resolution. Also this iPhone has a metalframe around it (i wish the back of it had it too) but anyways the battery life isn’t that bad. And also i hoped for the LTE internet technology inside (since it’s named 4G). But anyways in my opinion I think this is a vey cool phone.

  • miles and miles - June 9th, 2010 at 6:38 am UTC

I like the idea of a bigger screen, but in reality I think are just impractical the iphone 3,5 inch screen size makes it just about right it fills up one pocket with keys and wallet in the other, if it was any bigger it would just start getting too unwieldy and cumbersome. If you want some thing bigger get an ipad or laptop

    • You could easlity fit a larger screen in the same form factor. Just look at the HTC Incredible. Look at all the wasted space in the iphone bezzel.

    • Nah-with all the new hi-res media coming, a 4.3 option would have been the best. They could have still offered the tiny 3.5, but still have offered a bigger screen for us media lovers. Apple wastes a lot of screen space by the ear piece and around the big button. Over an inch of screen is wasted. They could have made the screen bigger/closer to the edgdes by moving the ear piece up a little and making a smaller button and bringing the screen down. That would have put the phone way over the edge of the competition.

      • I personally don’t want an iPhone. I respect what Apple has done for the industry but they did blow it with screen space. Why can’t that “back” button at the bottom, be moved to the side for example, giving you iPhone lovers a larger screen?

The new iPhone is honestly NOT an incredible leap. They’ve added a few things that are not that impressive. Video chat that only works with WiFi? That blows. I don’t always have a WiFi signal handy. I expected a lot more from Apple. It was supposed to be revolutionary like Steve claims but it’s basically the same thing with a few extra bells & whistles.

In the end, what happened to Apple with personal computing is happening to them with mobile phones. Sit back & watch. Google is playing the part of M$ this time and the Android OS will trump the Apple’s OS for sure. It already knocked Apple out of the 2nd place spot, down to 3rd.

Those of you who love Apple products, tend to prefer the look, style & the “hip” feel of owning an Apple product. You enjoy showing it off. That’s fine. You also tend to prefer having your hand held and being spoon-fed your apps, your data and basically being told how to do things. Some of us prefer to step out of that and like more flexibility. We either jailbreak the iPhone or get something different.

We have iPhones, Androids & Blackberry phones in my office for testing and we’re leaning more & more toward Android. We’re also waiting to see RIM’s new OS6 coming real soon.

        • BTW, I’m not directly replying to you Mike.
My reply somehow just ended up under yours I’ve noticed.

        • Remember, Apple has better build quality than anyone else. The hardware is undeniably superior to anything on the market right now. As long as Android keeps ending up on cheap components like HTC, I’ll pass.

So no, it’s not about being hip or cool, I enjoy the functionality of Apple products. And before you start crying fanboy, I’m a MCSE. I just know quality when I come across it.

1 more thing, I Jailbreak. And we all know a Jailbroken iPhone cannot, I repeat cannot be contended with. When it comes down to a level playing field with open operating systems, Android is fair at best.

        • BTW, when did Apple get knocked into 3rd place? Yesterday? Source?

  • All this new tech is media based. Why waste all these new wonders on a 3.5 in screen?? Netflix, iMovie etc. All the high def recording/watching on this small 3.5in screen. Yes Apple, I’d like to zoom in and out to death. I hate doing it all the time on this iPhone, let alone with all the new media intense tech heading our way. It’s ridiculous. At least offer 2 screen sizes. I bet the bigger screen would far outsell the 3.5.

  • Please guys, I really don’t understand this, most people will not have a noticable difference to their lives if they have an extra couple of hundred pixels on their pho e screen….web pages are clearer, therefore my life has just got so much better…no! This is insignificant. Apple are just putting everyone into this trance that just because they have improved their last improvement we have to get it before ours isn’t improved enough. My nokia brick texts and calls fine, goes on the web and yeh that’s all I care about… Pictures? Get a camera like every1 else. Movies? Tv or pc like everyone else. Etc. Don’t be drawn into this pretend world of changing our lives for the better, technology is simply a tool to help us with daily tasks, better picture quality is not the be all and end all of life

    • Ever heard of convergence. I have a point-n-shoot I haven’t used in over a year. Actually forgot I had one til the other day. My 3GS has taken over it’s duties and done so quite well. Love the geo tags.

I’ll accept the improvement in pixels over what we have currently. No, it won’t change the world, but it will enable me to show off my kids cuteness in high resolution.

    • “Whoever dies with the most toys wins”

    • Thank you Jj! People talk about sharper icons like they’re a life changing experience. After three weeks of use, people will discover the applications are the exact same applications they had on their 3gs. I love my iPhone and I think iOS is pretty cool, but I don’t sit around admiring the icons on my telephone. In the beginning, the under featured iPhone was about the software, and in the end it will be about the software. If the apps aren’t going to be more useful on 4 than the 3gs, then there’s really no need to upgrade.

      • Rhemy, you are un-informed. The apps are going to be different, the software is OS. You now have the capability of multitasking, this means that app producers have to re-code the applications to allow them to run with others. MAKING THEM MORE USEFUL. So they will be different with iphone 4. And as far as screen size goes, if you can not see the iphone screen go buy glasses. If that still does not work, you should buy a home phone and call it quits with technology.

        • Brendan,

I don’t understand the following in your post:

“And as far as screen size goes, if you can not see the iphone screen go buy glasses. If that still does not work, you should buy a home phone and call it quits with technology.”

When the heck rhemy mentioned anything about he/she is having hard time to see the iPhone screen?

  • I’m so surprised so many people want a bigger screen. The 3.5 is perfect for me. I want a sleek phone, not a brick or a flat panel in my pocket. Plus, WTF do you do if you’re looking at your screen that much. I use mines for mostly productivity. A larger screen isn’t justified. Maybe for GPS while driving, but it does just fine as is.

I think most people want to keep up with the Joneses, e.g. EVO. I’m a smart phone freak but I’m done looking until someone can prove they can outshine the iPhone. And because of the UI, I don’t see that happening any time soon.

    • No one is saying not to offer the tiny 3.5 to the minority of people like you, who choose it over a 4.3 iPhone. They should have offered a bigger screen for the majority as well. “Hmm- do I want a 13in Mac or a 24in?” If Apple were to make a 4.3 option, any goob would know that it would be the slickest, thinest, yet smallest 4.3 on the market. Yes. It would outsell the 3.5 by a planet wide. But you could still get your 3.5. Everybody else and you would still win.

    • Also -your comment on production cost on them making 2 different screen sizes for the iPhone earlier, And how it basically wouldn’t make much “busines” sense? you do realize Apple makes computers correct?………in different SCREEN sizes.

      • Mike you’re funny. Yes apple makes different size computer screens, and I see your logic. But what you and others are invisioning is unprecedented. Are there any manufacturers offering the same exact phone in different screen sizes? Nokia maybe? (To busy to google right now). I just don’t think the increased overhead to produce multiple casings, screens, and rearranging components is warranted.

But, one GREAT advantage to having a larger screen would be having an even larger battery.

I’ll agree to disagree, this time. :)

  • HA ! when ever new phone comes up they show the old one as a crap. like in above mentioned picture. iphone 3g or 3gs has a screen like nokia n70 , i have iphone 3g screen is much much much clear, i can not see any pixels with naked eye.
    no.
iphone 4 will be better but 3g is not a crap like they r showing .
1st they showed iphone 2g vs 3g “2g was the worlds gayest phone to have”
then 3g vs 3gs “oh 3g is much slower than the 3gs”
now 3gs vs 4g “now the 3gs is the world’s gayest phone”
    wtf ????

well i do not need that crap and i dont live by ur mind n thinking, i have 3g its working way too better than me… i do not need to upgrade “to same design”

well i dont wana pay 300 to 400 may be 500 for an upgrade i can hardly notice

just be happy with what u got.

    dont run after things .

and when u wana change, go for the better one,

they make us fool and here we go …

  • Hmm jailbroken or can everyone have there own background now

  • Do people just think that the bezel is just a mysterious place with a whole lot of wide open space where they can put a screen? ’cause it’s not. Every tiny bit of the iPhone is filled with components. It is beautifully engineered to fit as much as possible into as little space as possible.

Personally I think the screen size is no drama, a little bigger might be nicer but then the actual phone is going to be bigger. Either way there’s going to be idiots complaining about something.

And I also believe that they did massive studies on the anthropometic data related to the use of the iPhone. A larger screen would make it that people with smaller hands would not be able to hold it comfortably and reach the entire screen with their thumb, which is a very common position for the hands to be in.

    • Actually when they showed the “underneath parts”, It has plenty of room to have added more screen. My lady held an EVO in her hands, she has small hands as my fingers wrap over the top of hers. Having an iPhone now, she was very surprised that even though the EVO screen was almost an inch bigger, the phone itself was just a little bigger to her in hand. After playing with the bigger sized screen, she actually preferred it in the bigger size. So for her, and within reason, the bigger the better. (no jokes please, I’m just talking about the screen) I was even amazed at how big it did NOT feel, yet still having a much bigger screen as well. I think the small hand people could deal and adapt. If they were going from a Moto RAZR flip phone to an EVO, maybe not then. But going from a 3.5 to a 4.3 is no big leap, especially if the screen is pushed to the edge more while keeping the phone small. The best option would have been to offer 2 sizes for the masses- simply just have a men & women size. Since I finally felt the EVO in my hand, now the iPhone feels or at least looks too small screen wise to me personally. Happy fathers day to any “responsible” fathers out there btw. Bigger screen ftw!

  • Michael Chapman - June 21st, 2010 at 4:48 am UTC

Heres my two cents, why has it been 4 years using the same size screen?? surely a bigger screen would be useful rather than the darkness around the current one…. im not even really bothered about a huge screen i would just like 16:9, i mean come on 4:3 was outdated when the first iphone came out.

And to me it looks like Steve Jobs has created another money raping device that actually isnt quite worth the $$$.

BTW, this coming from an iphone owner. (1 year with the iphone 3gs)

    • You suck at math, do you? It’s 3:2 aspect ratio which is perfectly fine for what it’s intended for. If you must use base-16, 3:2 is 16:10.6666..

  • I am a well establisbed nerd, born 1984, had a Commodore 64, NES with Duckhunt, etc.. But the iPhone 4 is amazing. Best fone ever by far. The display looks as good as the phone itself – Literally! And I don’t care about what it doesn’t do because I have a PC. What it does do, it does better that anything. Period. So get fucked.

  • Be even better on a 4.3 in screen though.
